A special park in Prescott, Wisconsin is being built in memory of two young girls.

Fairy Wonderland Park honors Ava Christianson, a 9–year–old who died in 2017 after a long fight with leukemia, and Ellery Ennenga, who passed away in a drowning accident at the age of 2.

The project is led by Healing Play, Incorporated. The park is designed as a life-sized fairy garden, with oversized mushrooms, fairy houses and butterfly sculptures. Organizers say the goal is to create a magical, inclusive space where children of all abilities can play together.

The group is now fundraising for the next phase of the park. New features would include a double zip line, a wheelchair–accessible merry-go-round, a swing set, a musical play area and a fairy wishing well.

To make the entire space safe and accessible, poured rubber surfacing will be added.

The total fundraising goal is $79,000. Sponsorship levels start at $500, with names permanently displayed on the park’s sponsorship sign. So far, the project has raised just under $3,500.

Organizers hope to raise enough money to complete the project by the summer of 2026 instead of waiting another year.

Donations can be made through the park’s website or the GoFundMe page.
